We begin this week’s Nintendo Download with a correction. It appears that only one Castlevania game was releasing this week; that being Harmony of Dissonance. Those of you that were waiting for Aria of Sorrow will have to wait one more week. However, Wii U owners will have plenty of other games to play this week as Ballpoint Universe, Paper Monsters Recut, and Lone Survivor: The Director’s Cut release for the system.
Meanwhile, the 3DS line-up is a bit light this week, with Pyramids 2 and Harvest Moon 2 GBC as the main events this week. However, it is evened out as a number of great games are on sale in the eShop. SteamWorld Dig and Squids Odyssey are on sale for both systems. Trine 2: Director’s Cut is at half off. And Atlus is placing a number of its games on sale, including the 3DS Etrian Odyssey games.
We are at the mid-point of one of the busiest months in gaming and it looks to get even busier by the time it’s all said and done. Along with Aria of Sorrow, the eShop will be receiving Bayonetta 2, Fantasy Life, and Pokemon Art Academy next week. The following week, the Virtual Console will see releases of Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land from the GBA, Demon’s Crest from the SNES, and Gargoyle’s Quest II: The Demon Darkness from the NES (Gargoyle’s Quest II will release on both 3DS and Wii U). Plus, we are still awaiting the release of Costume Quest 2 sometime this month.
