A new crossover game in the renowned Dragon Quest franchise was announced. The newly revealed Dragon Quest Heroes is a collaboration between Omega Force (of Dynasty Warriors fame) and Square Enix, to bring the popular Musou style of gameplay to the Dragon Quest franchise. Square Enix has provided a trailer.
The trailer shows thousands of classic Dragon Quest foes attacking a castle. The trailer then proceeds to show us the defenders of the castle. I’m not as familiar with the series as I’d like to be, so I can’t name the characters shown, assuming they aren’t simply new character representing the series’ long list of jobs. But I do know that the end of the trailer shows fan favorite characters from Dragon Quest IV.
Dragon Quest Heroes will be released in Japan sometime in 2015. So far, a Western release has not been confirmed. You can watch the trailer below.
