Remember that game Yumi’s Odd Odyssey, that came out a few months back on the Nintendo 3DS eShop? You know, the first game in the Umihara Kawase series to be translated and released outside of Japan? C’mon, think harder! In any case, the game was released a few months back and was $29.99. Natsume apparently decided to give the game a permanent price drop to $19.99! If there was ever a time to pick up the game it is now.

Yumi’s Odd Odyssey is a very challenging platformer where you use a fishing rod to grab on to platforms or swing your way across several levels. The best way to describe it is Bionic Commando, but with the ability to jump and even that is barely an accurate comparison. There are multiple paths, characters and even alternate outfits for you to unlock. There is a surprising amount of content in this hidden gem, so if you are looking for a game that is a little bit different than what you are used to give it a try!
