Crimsonland, a dual-stick, top-down shooter, blasts its way onto the PlayStation 4 on July 15th. This is the game 10tons was founded on in 2003, and it started as a student project. The graphics have been redone in HD, and the game has gotten some content and design tweaks, but the gameplay remains the same.
Aliens, giant spiders, zombies and other monsters are attacking your Trooper and just when you think you have shot your last enemy more approach. Your death is imminent…or is it? Just when all hope is lost you can use a powerup to clear an entire screen. Just in time for another wave of monsters to come at you.
Shooting down these zombies and giant spiders wouldn’t be much fun without some cool weapons, would it? The game offers 30 weapons and 55 perks to keep your interest. Perks are special abilities that give you upgrades like reloading faster, poison bullets, etc. Match your playing style with the perks for the best results in the campaign’s sixty missions. There are three difficulty settings and five survival gameplay modes. There are also leaderboards for single player or local co-op for 2-4 players.
