On June 20th, Nintendo of Japan launched Nintendo News! From what it looks like, it appears to be an interactive website. The site’s layout has a magazine-style layout to it. The really amazing part is that it’s officially made by Nintendo of Japan.
So far it the site has covered almost all the news of this past E3 and we’re not sure how frequently it will update.
Could we see something like this in the United States? Could the Nintendo Power be brought back like this? Only time will tell. We at Operation: Power Up can only hope!
For those new to Operation: Power Up, we’re a group of dedicated fans persuading Nintendo of America to bring back Nintendo Power as a digital publication and/or a website. With fan publications such as Pure Nintendo, Nintendo Force, and the UK’s magazine, Official Nintendo Magazine still being made, it shows there’s still a market for a dedicated Nintendo publication. Our mission is simple: we want to get back the Power. Nintendo Power!
