Fossil Fighters Frontier is the latest in the line of Pokémon-esque dinosaur games from RED Entertainment (best known for creating the Sakura Wars series, among others). The Japanese version of the game was called Fossil Fighters Infinite Gear, and it’s been out since March there. Now, we are finally seeing the game in North America, announced with the following trailer:

So, it looks like, rather than exploring on-foot like previous games, you’ll jump into a Jeep to go excavate the fossils you’ll need to resurrect your dinosaurs. I’m not sure how I feel about kids getting into big Jeeps, but it does look like it will add new gameplay elements, so OK.
