E3 2014 EA Conference | Mass Effect 4

During the EA World Premiere at E3 today, BioWare got a chance to share some initial concepts for the next Mass Effect game. Unfortunately, it was mostly some behind-the-scenes chats with the developers, but it sounds like they have high hopes for the game.

Not much was revealed about the next Mass Effect, and very few details are known about the game, in general. The developers are promising a game rooted in great characters and story with an interactive narrative. They’re promising new places to explore and some impressive graphics using the power of next generation technology. Although there was no actual footage since the game is not very far along in development, BioWare did show some initial conceptual images.

In addition to teasing the new Mass Effect, BioWare also revealed that they are developing an entirely new IP. However, they did not give any details beyond promising to build a new, interesting world and contemporary story. Hopefully we’ll be seeing some more info on the next Mass Effect and the new IP soon. But, in the meantime, be sure to check out the footage from E3 below:
