UPDATE: Hey, guys. With all the commotion of E3, I forgot to remind you guys about this. In order to make things right, Voting will stay open through the weekend. You now have until June 15th at 11:59 PM PDT to vote for your favorite games of May 2014.

Game of the Month - May 2014| oprainfall

We’re gonna start something new today. From now until Thursday of next week (June 12th), we want to know what you thought was the best game for the month of May. We’re going to list several games from all platforms on here and let you guys decide what you thought was the best.

A few things before you get to it. First, this list is quite long (212 games, to be exact) and may have some mistakes. I tried to isolate games or upgraded ports of games that came out this month from re-releases that came. If you see a game that doesn’t belong here — or if I added something that isn’t really a game — leave a comment with a link to a website that states when the game first released. I’ll take care of it from there.

Second, once you hit “Vote”, that’s it. Your vote is permanent and cannot be changed. So, make sure you have selected the games you want recognized for the month of May before you hit the button at the bottom.

Third, voting will effect what is listed come January for the Readers’ Game of the Year. Anything receiving little to no support will not appear in the GOTY preliminary vote.

Finally, this is a one-time voting process; i.e., no additional rounds. You vote for up to 10 games and the results from that will determine what wins Game of the Month.

Voting ends at 11:59 PM PDT on June 12th. Have fun.

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

NOTE: The Holy Diver listed is a completely different game from the 1980s game.
