Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call - Logo | oprainfall

Square Enix has announced that Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call, the much-anticipated sequel to the rhythm game featuring music from the Final Fantasy series, will be getting both a Limited Edition and a Collector’s Edition.

Anyone pre-ordering the standard version of the game will be automatically upgraded to the Limited Edition, which will contain a 5-track music CD entitled Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call – Remix Selections.

The Collector’s Edition of the game will be available exclusively through the Square Enix online store. While it won’t have the Special Edition Nintendo 3DS that Japan got, it does include the following:

  • 3DS System Collector’s Pouch
  • 20-track music CD titled The Best of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call
  • 5-track music CD titled Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call – Remix Selections
  • 5 CollectaCards from the game

The Collector’s Edition will be priced at $69.99 and will be limited to 5,000 copies, so act fast if you’re planning on getting one.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call will feature over 200 songs from across the Final Fantasy series, including not just the numbered games, but also titles such as Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and Final Fantasy Type-0. The game will be a 3DS exclusive and, aside from these special editions, you can buy a standard retail version or download it from the eShop. The game is set to release in North America on September 16.
