Yes, it’s almost here. Mario Kart 8 will be releasing worldwide tomorrow. From the early impressions, there’s a lot of good stuff to look forward to. Also coming to the Wii U this week is KLONOA: Empire of Dreams. This is a re-release of the original GBA game. The Wii U eShop will also get releases of two indie games in Ittle Dew and Gravity Badgers.
Over on the 3DS, Mega Man Xtreme 2 releases for the Virtual Console, marking the end of Mega May for Nintendo. But it doesn’t end here as we have plenty of Mega Man reviews to go through before the end of the month, including today. In addition, Nintendo has announced a new line of eShop cards that feature AR interactivity. With it, you can take photos of Mario and other Mushroom Kingdom favorites.

Mega Man™ Xtreme 2 – It’s Mega May! Every Thursday in May, a different Mega Man game will launch in the Virtual Console section of the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS. The final Mega May release is Mega Man Xtreme 2, which originally launched on the Game Boy Color system in 2001. Join Mega Man X and Zero as they solve a mysterious case involving Reploids being turned into empty shells. The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service that features a wide variety of content, including new and classic games, applications and demos. Users can add money to their account balances by using a credit card or purchasing a Nintendo eShop Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card.
