Tecmo Koei has recently opened up the official website for the remake of the original title Atelier Rorona, Atelier Rorona Plus: The Alchemist of Arland; also known as Shin Atelier Rorona in Japan. This is not an enhanced port like Atelier Totori Plus and Atelier Meruru Plus, but a remake that attempts to fix all the issues that plagued Rorona, issues that even diehard fans of the Arland series would state to advise new players to simply skip over the game and jump into Totori — while adding new mechanics from the more current titles in the Dusk series.
The remake is also now up for pre-order at both Amazon.com and GameStop. The physical copy only applies to the PlayStation 3 version, as the PlayStation Vita is a digital-only release.
