This year’s E3 is just around the corner and Nintendo has elaborated on some of their plans this year, in particular the Super Smash Bros. Invitational tournament. And they’ve detailed how you can see the event yourself.
The Super Smash Bros. Invitational will be the first-ever public tournament featuring Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The tournament will take place on June 10th at the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles. There will be 16 players selected to compete. The event will be broadcast live on Twitch’s E3 channel, Nintendo’s Twitch Channel and on Nintendo’s YouTube channel.
If you want to see the event in-person, wristbands will be given out starting at 9:30 am PDT at the NOKIA Plaza at L.A. LIVE at 777 Chick Hearn Court in Los Angeles. There will be a limit of 3,000 wristbands and they will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. The doors will open at 2:30 pm PDT and the event will begin at 4:00 pm PDT.
As an added bonus, if you cosplay as a Super Smash Bros. character, you may be eligible for priority seating in front of the stage.
