Toronto – April 22, 2014 – Lights. Camera. Action! It’s time for gamers to get camera ready for the world’s most popular cartoon demolition derby television show as independent game developer Finish Line Games today brings the chaotic, cartoon-inspired vehicle combat title, Cel Damage HDto the PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment systems and the PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system for $9.99. As a Cross-Buy title available now in the Americas and soon to be released in Europe, Cel Damage HD offers single-purchase, multi-platform support, and once purchased can be downloaded for all systems.

A remake of the timeless classic Cel Damage, the “HD” version is a fast-paced vehicle combat game where the world’s toughest cartoon drivers get behind the wheel of outlandish cars and battle each other in order to gain TV fame. With 10 playable characters, combatants smash, shoot and slice enemies into oblivion using an array of destructive armaments to earn personal glory. With vibrant cel-shaded art, Cel Damage HD transports players into a real-life cartoon environment, and allows them to explore 13 arena-style levels with 10 playable cars and more than 30 weapon power-ups.

New features include:

-One of the first games offering four-player, split-screen multiplayer on the PlayStation4
-Updated graphics and art that makes Cel Damage HD shine on HDTVs
-Revised balancing that makes the game easy to pick up, but provides challenging combat as players progress through Cel Damage HD

“As one of the first titles the team worked on together, the original Cel Damage has always held a special place in our hearts,” said Daniel Posner, Co-founder of Finish Line Games. “For years we’ve wanted to bring Cel Damage HD to fruition and we’re excited to release as a Cross-Buy title for the Sony systems. We hope new and returning fans enjoy Cel Damage HD for years to come just as many did for the original.”
