It was not that long ago that Bandai Namco Games announced a release date of April 25th for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle for Europe and Australasia. Without a release date for the Americas, some fans on these continents may have grown a little worried. That has changed, however, now that Bandai Namco Games has announced that the game will come to the Americas April 29th.
North American fans will also be able to receive one of two DLC characters as part of a pre-order incentive, just like their European counterparts. The characters come from the fourth part of the series titled Diamond Is Unbreakable. Pre-ordering from ClubNamco.com will earn players the character Yoshikage Kira, while pre-ordering from Amazon.com will allow players to download Shigekiyo Yangu. (It’s uncertain whether the same is true of Amazon.ca pre-orders.)
Yoshikage Kira: Originally a salesman who is aspiring for a quiet life, Kira is full of contradictions and madness. Why a man seeking discretion would be wearing a purple suit? Why a man seeking discretion would be a serial-killer for years? Lot of questions remains unanswered around this scary man and his terrifying stand: Killer Queen…
Shigekiyo Yangu: Nicknamed “Shigechi”, like a lot of characters in JOJO’S BIZARRE ADVENTURE, he appears to be full of paradoxes. People thought that being naïve can’t be associated with being a smart fighter? Ask Shigechi about it! His encounter with the frightening Kira remains one of the most important twists in the 4th Chapter…
Developed by CyberConnect2, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle is a fighting game for the PS3 that has been adapted from Hirohiko Araki’s popular manga JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. This incarnation features 41 characters from the first chapter to the current eighth chapter and recreates the manga’s stunning art style.
