More good news for Theatrhythm fans! Curtain Call looks to include even more characters in the sequel, including ones from Final Fantasy Type-0. Some of the new characters are the following – Rem, Machina, Golbez, Final Aeon and Magitek Armor! Besides that, a host of new features will compliment the return of Battle, Event and Field Music stages, as we’ve previously covered.
New is info about Versus mode, which will apparently rank characters with Bronze, Silver or Gold trophies based on how well they play. Repeated consecutive inputs without missing fills up something called an Ex Burst Gauge, which will provide various options to mess with your Versus opponent, be it human or CPU controlled. Another new feature I am excited about is Quest Medley, where you traverse a map and aim to beat a massive final boss. This feature was utilized in the iOS version of the original game, but not the 3DS one I know and love.
