Good news for the Wii U fans out there! Though there has definitely been a bit of a lull in releases lately, that looks to change some in 2014. Case in point – XType Plus, PhobosLab’s previously free SHMUP game, is getting released on the Wii U eShop in an upgraded form. The endless shooter will get leaderboards, the new Plus mode, new visuals and music, as well as other features to enhance the gameplay. Though we don’t know the release date or price quite yet, I am more than happy to welcome a new SHMUP to the Wii U library.
