Developer Francisco Téllez de Meneses and EnjoyUp Games have revealed that the Wii U version of the indie title Unepic will be coming to the North American eShop next week on Thursday January 16th. The announcement comes from a statement that was issued earlier today.

Unepic was created by Spanish developer Francisco Téllez de Meneses, along with numerous collaborators. The game has been out since 2011 on PC gaming platforms like GOG.com, Desura, and Steam. Unepic has also been translated into 10 different languages since its release. This will be the first console release for the game.

EnjoyUp Games will be helping bring Unepic to the Wii U. The gaming company has had a hand in developing and porting games for Nintendo consoles, including Chronos Twins for DS and WiiWare and the WiiWare version of La-Mulana.
