GameLoading: Rise of the Indies is an upcoming Australian film about the recent rise of indie games within the industry. Anna Brady and Lester Francois, who comprise the Clifton Hill-based StudioBento, are the ones filming the project. A few months ago they successfully funded a Kickstarter campaign which aimed to give them the funds they required to go on a worldwide trip to meet and interview a number of indie developers across the world.
Their trip took them to PAX Prime in Seattle and then trek all over Europe to meet with various indie developers. Fans of the upcoming film will already know this, as they’ve been talking about it on their Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as through their many updates on Kickstarter.
Having just returned from their overseas adventure, they’ve managed to put together a new teaser trailer using some of the footage they acquired overseas. Check it out below!
GameLoading: Rise of the Indies is set to ship next year for backers of the Kickstarter campaign.
