In a Nintendo Direct released back on October 1, Nintendo had announced that a new Kirby game was coming to the 3DS in 2014. However, they didn’t provide many details at the time. While yesterday’s Nintendo Direct was devoid of Kirby-related news, Nintendo issued a press release summarizing all the news that came out of the video. Buried somewhere in the middle was this little tidbit:
The new Kirby game for Nintendo 3DS has a name: Kirby: Triple Deluxe. More information about the game will be announced in the future.
So, the new Kirby game is Kirby: Triple Deluxe (“Triple Deluxe,” “3D”—get it?). We still don’t know much else about the game, however.
