One of the themes in the recent Link Between Worlds gameplay trailer contains a hidden nod to the game’s predecessor, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

Wow! My first Zelda game was the GBA port of A Link to the Past, so this is as close to nostalgic as I can get for the series (given that I first started playing the series as an adult).
