It’s been about a month since Atlus launched their mysterious Persona-related teaser site, p-ch.jp. The site doesn’t give us much, just a date, time, a list of cities, and some boxes that move slightly if you click them. Judging by the given date, an announcement associated with this mysterious site should be coming November 24th. Naturally, there’s a lot of room for speculation in terms of the nature of this teaser site and the coming announcement, but it seems we may have just received another clue.
In a recent interview with Play.Community, the Director of the Persona Team, Katsura Hashino, commented on the teaser site:
I believe that we’ll soon be able to tell you all the announcements we’ve been keeping, so please look forward to that day… if you’d allow me to simply leave it as that for now. However, I believe that we will be delivering news that will most likely please all the fans.
Considering that Hashino is very likely working on Persona 5 right now, could the announcement he’s teasing be about the newest entry in the Persona series? It’s impossible to say for sure, but given the other news we’ve been hearing related to Persona 5, it doesn’t seem unreasonable. Not only did Index register a Persona 5 domain, Hashino has also been teasing fans with unannounced titles.
At this point, there’s not much to do other than cross our fingers and wait for November 24th. Be sure to stay tuned for more upcoming news on Atlus’ mysterious teaser site!
