Precursor Games have officially relaunched their Kickstarter for Shadow of the Eternals after the previous Kickstarter was temporarily canceled last month. The new fundraising goal is $750,000 (USD) which is down significantly from the original $1.3 million they were asking for during the original campaign back in May.
Shadow of the Eternals will be spiritual successor to Eternal Darkness and has many of the same developers from Silicon Knights that worked on the first game. It will be a single-player third-person action adventure game with some significant horror elements. The game is being developed for PC and Wii U, but bringing the game to PlayStation 4 is currently one of their stretch goals. For more details about the gameplay specifics, goals, cast, and more, be sure to visit the Kickstarter page.
