Limited Edition of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster?

An interesting development has come up today concerning Square Enix’s Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster. Earlier, a new online GameStop flyer dated June 26 advertised a “free limited edition upgrade” on pre-orders of the HD compilation. However, while this may sound quite exciting, fans shouldn’t run to their nearest GameStop just yet. This may be an error on their part, as not only have they removed any mention of an upgrade or a limited edition, Square Enix has never announced anything of the sort. GameStop’s product page makes no mention of it, either.

Whether a limited edition exists or not, be sure to look out for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster when it makes its way to the PS3 and PS Vita later this year.
