In Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Vikings take over Donkey Kong Island, and DK has to take it back. Producer Kensuke Tanabe revealed that along with Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, and Dixie Kong, there will be an additional fourth playable character. You’ll be able to choose which character to play as, each with different abilities that can help them get different rewards and secrets. Also, the pluck-and-throw element from Super Mario Bros. 2 (which Tanabe directed) will make a comeback in Tropical Freeze for puzzles, enemies, and more.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD will support GamePad-only play. You’ll be able to control the Wind Waker item by touching the screen in the desired direction. Later in the game, you’ll be able to unlock a new feature that will make the sailing portion of the game go much faster. Series producer Eiji Aonuma also said the end of the game will be less abrupt but did not elaborate. Many believe Nintendo will be bringing back the dungeons from the original version of the game.

Bayonetta 2

The Umbran Climax was revealed as a new special ability that can provide Bayonetta with an intense set of special moves. Also revealed was a new way to control the game, with the stylus on the touchscreen, very similar to how you control Link in The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

Each of these games looks amazing. Which one are you most excited for?
