It’s not all that often that a game comes along, and really pulls on your heart strings. At Sony’s E3 conference today, SCE Studios Japan revealed the trailer to Rain, an adventure game that lets players take control of an invisible boy on a quest to find answers. This new title will be released in the Autumn of 2013.

The trailer to Rain showcases a boy who is lost and appears to be a ghost. After seeing a girl apparition, he goes on a quest to find her. This invisible boy will remain unseen to the world, even to the player, but falling rain will allow his silhouette and footsteps to be visible to the naked eye.

Rain will be an exclusive title for the PlayStation 3.
