Fable III logo

Those Xbox 360 owners who have yet to play Lionhead Studios’ action RPG Fable III and are Xbox Live Gold members can now download it free from the Xbox Live Marketplace.

To download the game, simply choose to pay with Microsoft Points when prompted to download the game. Free members are barred from this deal—they’ll still have to pay $19.99 USD in the United States or $39.99 CAD in Canada.

Microsoft has yet to say if this is an official deal. Since this could be a mistake on their part, you’d better grab the title as soon as you can.
