Metal Gear Solid

During Konami’s Pre-E3 press conference earlier today, Konami revealed some exciting new information on the upcoming release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The first thing that was on everyone’s mind going into this conference was the new voice of Snake since it was announced that David Hayter would not be returning to reprise the role. Konami revealed that the voice of Snake is the actor Kiefer Sutherland.

Metal Gear Solid

Hideo Kojima has emphasized that the big points of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be conveying the emotion and interaction of characters through motion capture on real actors with the lifelike graphics of the Fox Engine to convey the story in a more cinematic experience. Hideo Kojima also pointed out that in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain there would be an open world mechanic that was unlike what you would normally find in action games, however, he did not elaborate any further on that topic.
