Last December, Dark Souls II was announced for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC during the Spike Video Game Award show. Not a direct sequel, Dark Souls II will feature a new hero and story line, as well as a new open world twice the size of that of Dark Souls.
Images of a billboard raised above the E3 center in Los Angeles have led to suggest that Dark Souls II may be released in March 2014. The photos of the billboard itself surfaced from Twitter user VaatiVidya and All Games Beta. There was no other information aside from the game’s title and speculated release date.
Since the images have surfaced, Namco Bandai has confirmed the launch date. Amazon is currently accepting pre-orders for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.
