Have you ever appreciated the artistic craft found in video game and anime figurines or statuettes? If not, then you just might be able to after reading this piece of news.

After the successful releases of the pose-able Link and Samus figurines (or figma) by Max Factory, followed by a rapid emptying of stocks and over-inflated aftermarket prices, the online retailer Big Bad Toy Store has announced that a new production run will occur for the following Nintendo ancillaries. Both figurines will run at $50 each, and is due at the fourth quarter this year.

The licensing issues that prevented their American releases have finally been solved, thus allowing official distributors to carry them in stock.

You can check out Link and Samus in action below:

In addition to the pose-able action figures, another Samus figurine by Max Factory — this time a statuette of Zero Suit Samus fromĀ Metroid Other M — will be due for a re-release this winter. The same licensing issues that plagued the American releases for Link and Samus’ figmas have also been lifted for the Zero Suit Samus statuette, which also makes her available for official distributors, running at $100.

These figurines look absolutely stunning. Knowing that Max Factory produces good quality products, the attention to detail behind the sculpting and painting grants these Nintendo characters the highest honor. This is something that fans of The Legend of Zelda and Metroid series would not want to miss.
