At 6PM PST today, NIS America, also known as NISA, held an event for members of the press. Being lovers of niche games, we at Oprainfall love all of the publishing work NISA do in the states, and the games they develop.
Nippon Ichi Software will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this July, and as a result, some wonderful announcements for fans of niche games and anime alike were made today. What were they, you ask? Keep reading to find out!
NIS America opened their presentation by informing us that The Witch and the Hundred Knights is nearing completion. Hopefully we’ll hear more on a release date soon!
Character Chowdown is a game designed to teach the player some Japanese; the quicker you identify Japanese language characters, the higher your level will become. Expect more information this Spring. As someone who wants to learn more Japanese, I find this incredibly exiting.
Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness is thus named due to it being a more light-hearted game than previous entries in the series. It is designed to be more streamlined than its predecessors. A Brighter Darkness is due to release this Fall.
The God and Fate Revolution Paradox was announced for localisation by NISA under the name Guided Fate Paradox.
Finally, NISA have confirmed that they will be releasing both the game and the anime for Toki to Towa: Time and Eternity this Summer.
