It’s Tuesday, North American PlayStation Network users, and you know what that means; a new PlayStation Store update is due today (Wednesday for European users)! Within that update you will finally see the Extra Modes DLC for Resident Evil 6 that, until today, has been in the hands of Xbox 360 users alone. The modes found in said DLC are Predator, Survivors, and Onslaught, all of which can purchased for a mere $3.99 each. A run down of each mode can be found after the jump.

Predator mode has one player take on the role of the Ustanak, a huge B.O.W., and tries to eliminate the human players. The humans’ task is to stop the deadly B.O.W. in its tracks, or at least survive until the end of the session.

Survivors takes the classic solo- and team-based versus mode and adds a twist. Get killed and you respawn as an enemy character with the ability to attack the human characters. Take down two human characters to resurrect in human form. Last man or team standing wins.

Onslaught sees two players go head-to-head in an attempt to clear waves of oncoming enemies. Chaining combos provides the key to success in Onslaught as this will send enemies over to the opponent’s screen, the more that are sent over, the quicker the victory will be.

Along with this info, Capcom announced a compilation DLC for Resident Evil 6‘s Mercenaries mode that includes all of the “previously-released add-on maps”. The DLC can be purchased March 5 worldwide for Xbox Live and March 6 for European users. Only North America users will be getting it for the PlayStation Network. If you haven’t already nabbed a copy of this game, I would say that now is the time!
