Is a Monster Hunter spinoff in our future? There very well may be, as a trademark for the game Monster Hunter Diary: Puri Puri Poogie Race has been discovered in Japan.
The name alone tells us that this is indeed some sort of racing game. The Monster Hunter Diary games have been around for quite some time. They boast games like Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Felyne Village, in which you played as one of the game’s cat-like creatures. Poogie racing was included in the game and it looks as if it was fun enough to warrant its own spin off. Typically, these spinoffs have a softer look to them as opposed to the more real life scenes in the Monster Hunter games.
While I admit that this could be done very well and provide for quite a lot of fun, I am interested to see/hear how others feel about this. Is something like this going to give us (If the game is released in North America) another fun Monster Hunter game, or is this something you would pass on playing?
