Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney

Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, also known in Japan as Reiton-kyōju vs Gyakuten Saiban, has finally been released in Japan! To mark the occasion Capcom has released another preview video for those lucky gamers who are on the fence to see if the game is worth their hard-earned cash.

No localization announcement has been issued as of yet which is quite saddening, considering that Capcom has announced Ace Attorney 5 for a Western release. Level-5 did say they had a keen interest in wanting to localize it (especially with the game being voted for one their most wanted localized titles from them on their Facebook last year) and they have a branch in North America… so maybe? Who knows. All I can say is it’d be a pretty damn shame if we didn’t get a localization. Production wise, the game looks quite impressive; A story that sucks in two popular characters from two popular franchises into a single world and doesn’t feel forced… it feels just right!
