XSEED Games may not have been around for long but they have quite the impressive library of games. The games they’ve published include well received Wii games like The Last Story, Little King’s Story, and Rune Factory Frontier, which is a part of the Harvest Moon spin-off Rune Factory series. Earlier today, a fan asked XSEED on their official Facebook page about whether they had any interest in localizing Rune Factory 4 for the Nintendo 3DS. They took the opportunity to respond.

“Hmmm, we’ve had an itch to work on another Rune Factory game since we loved Frontier so much, so let’s see if we can’t grab a back scratcher somehow…”

Keep in mind that this is NOT an official confirmation, by any means. Still, it would be pretty neat if they did bring Rune Factory 4 over. Hopefully, we’ll hear more from XSEED in the future.
