Today Mistwalker unveiled a new website for their upcoming iOS title Blade Guardian, and no, it’s not a JRPG. Far from it actually – if you check out the screenshots below, it seems to be a tower defense game which may not look that appealing, but trust me, they’re addicting.
The website also has a hard, but soothing patriotic melody that also has a sense of foreboding. Very interesting, and like Mistwalker’s previous iOS game, Party Wave, this is quite the departure from what we we’ve seen from Sakaguchi and his team. Though that doesn’t make us any less intrigued, and we can’t wait to see more of Blade Guardian.
