Nintendo has officially announced Pikmin 3 at their E3 Press Conference today!
The new hardware shows the game looking bigger and better then before. Included was a showing of a new type of Pikmin, the ‘Rock Pikmin’. Now you can see the map at all times, including 100 Pikmin all at once on screen. With the help of the Wii U game pads touch screen, you can easily coordinate between the types or groups of Pikmin you want to choose for whatever action is needed.
There are 4 new characters, with Captain Olimar missing in action. Nintendo has said there is a good reason why he wasn’t shown, and it’s a secret they will reveal later down the line.
