So, a lot of people were upset with Square Enix for using a teaser website to announce an iOS port of The World Ends With You. But that may not be the only TWEWY-related project Square has in the works. In an interview with this week’s copy of Famitsu, the director of the game, Tatsuya Kando, took the time to answer some questions regarding the iOS port of TWEWY. He also stated that the iOS game was more than just a port and that they are working on other future projects.

“For those who were waiting for new developments for TWEWY, sorry to have kept you waiting. Solo Remix is a game with such a high level of completion that you won’t feel that it’s a port. If you play it and post Tweets to Twitter, the world will expand even further. We’re working on a variety of other things, but first please enjoy Solo Remix.”

The new iOS port of The World Ends With You is the cheapest version of the game available right now, even though it’s ungodly expensive for a mobile title. That said, if you haven’t played The World Ends With You by now, fix that mistake immediately.
