Today we are delighted to announce that their Chinese mythology-based action RPG Sword and Fairy: Together Forever, a brand new standalone entry in the storied franchise, is OUT NOW for PS5 and PS4, available as digital standard and digital premium editions. Be sure to check out our release trailer!

With its beginnings in 1995, the Sword and Fairy RPG series has captured the hearts and imagination of Chinese-speaking players for decades. Today, harnessing the full power of the PlayStation, Sword and Fairy: Together Forever advances mechanics and graphics presentation into the next generation. This is a standalone RPG epic that can be enjoyed equally by long-time fans or newcomers without prior knowledge of the series, one that Eastasiasoft Limited is exceptionally proud to bring to new audiences worldwide.

Be swept away by an intricate tale grounded in Chinese mythology where you will meet a cast of memorable characters who each have their own unique backstory, motivations and personalities. Between the clans of humans, deities and demons on the brink of war, heroism and villainy are often a matter of perspective rather than black-and-white morality. Not every hero is selfless, and not every villain is purely evil. It’s up to young deity Xiu Wu, human swordswoman Yue Qingshu and their newfound allies to fight for what they believe and find a way to prevent open war between the realms, protect peace and shape the world’s future for the greater good despite their differences.

Sword and Fairy: Together Forever was originally developed by Softstar Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. Eastasiasoft Limited is publishing digitally in the west. Sword and Fairy: Together Forever is available in two digital versions in a Standard and Premium edition. The Standard Edition available at US$39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99 features the PS4/PS5 game and a modern style outfits add-on, whilst the Premium Edition available at US$49.99 / €49.99 / £39.99 features the PS4/PS5 game, modern style outfits add-on, digital soundtrack, dynamic themes (PS4 only) and 4 avatars.

Sword and Fairy: Together Forever also will be available at North America retailers in early 2023 including premium physical editions at US$49.99 and a Premium Collector’s Edition at US$99.99, produced in partnership with Serenity Forge. European physical release will follow at a later date.
