The latest entry in the Valkyrie series made its debut at Sony’s State of Play on Wednesday. Valkyrie Elysium follows a a young Valkyrie entrusted with the fate of the world from the All-Father.
Developed by Soleil, the game features the music of Motoi Sakuraba, and character designs by Yuya Nagai. As an action RPG, Elysium features an assortment of deadly weapons, magic, finishing moves and combos our heroine can employ to prevent Ragnarok. The game’s story draws heavily from Norse mythology to present a fresh, engaging narrative. You can check out some of the new gameplay systems in the reveal trailer above.
Valkyrie Elysium will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC later this year.
