This week, the Nintendo Download has only two featured games, but it makes up for that in the second half!

Featured Games

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cloud Version arrives on the Switch on October 26th.

“Fire up Star-Lord’s jet boots for a wild ride across the cosmos in this third-person action-adventure game, a fresh take on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. With the unpredictable Guardians at your side, blast your way from one explosive situation to another, with original and iconic Marvel characters caught in a struggle for the fate of the universe. You got this. Probably.”

We also have the fast-paced action rogue-lite, Skul: The Hero Slayer, releasing on October 21st. It includes 100 playable characters with unique abilities and a huge pile of items.

Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo is also highlighting the new higher Switch Online subscription tier, otherwise known by the strange name “Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack”. The Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games will be available to play starting on October 25th.

Current Sales

For the Nintendo Download sales scene this week, we have a few things still going from last week. Some of them will be ending quite soon, though.

The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Double Gold Points offer on the eShop for the game and certain DLC ends on October 24th.

Meanwhile, the Jackbox Party Pack 6 Sale ends on October 27th. The Children of Morta – New DLC Celebration Sale also ends on that day.

Now that we have that stuff out of the way, let’s look at the new sales.

Save 33% off NBA 2K22 or 20% off NBA 2K22 NBA 75th Anniversary Edition until October 26th in the NBA Tip Off Sale.

On November 2nd, the Warner Bros. Games Halloween Sale will end. It includes the Lego Harry Potter Collection and a handful of DLCs for several other games.

Meanwhile, the Spooky Savings on Ubisoft Hits sale ends on November 3rd, with 75% off on 7 games. The Skul: The Hero Slayer Launch Sale also ends on that same day.

Finally, the longest-running new item this week is the Danganronpa Anniversary Editions + Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp Digital Pre-Order Sale. This one ends on December 2nd.

About Michael Fontanini

Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general).

I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
