It’s hard to believe it’s already September, but here we are. The first Nintendo Download of the month has a quiet featured section including a famous blue hedgehog. Also, don’t forget that the My Nintendo Ultimate Monster Hunter amiibo Sweepstakes #2 is ending on the 7th.

Featured Games

Sonic Colors: Ultimate will join the Switch library on September 7th. This is a remaster of the original Wii game. Dr. Eggman is naturally at it again, having built a strange interstellar amusement park. To power the monstrosity, he captured the “Wisps”, an alien race. Sonic’s speed combined with the power of the Wisps will save the day, leaving their nemesis with egg on his face yet again!

Pokémon TV is a new, free app on the Nintendo Switch. It allows you to watch the Pokémon TV series, movies, Pokémon TCG matches, video game competitions, and more on your Switch! The app’s library content is updated regularly. They’ve also added a Junior section for younger Pokémon fans. The app was already available on mobile.

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
