This week’s Nintendo Download has a rather quiet featured section, though Nintendo also announced a new game this week.

Featured Games

Skate City ($9.99 | $14.99) has just launched on the Nintendo Switch, featuring three iconic locales that are all inspired by real life skate spots in Los Angeles, Oslo, and Barcelona. Perform realistic skate tricks, take on over 100 challenges, or just chill out and have some fun! You can also customize your skater as well.

Nintendo also revealed a new Switch game this week: Game Builder Garage ($29.99). It is set to launch in early June, and allows you to make your own games with no programming knowledge. Instead, it uses a node-based editor to allow players to very quickly set up interactions between game objects.

Current Sales

This week’s Nintendo Download doesn’t have a lot new in the sales scene either. There is a new offer that runs through this weekend at participating retailers. It lets you save $20 on four select games:

  • Fire Emblem: Three Houses
  • New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
  • Super Mario Odyssey
  • Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition

The second new offer this week is the Star Wars Day sale, which ends this morning May 7th at 8:59am PT.

The rest of the major offers currently available are ones we’ve covered last week or in previous weeks. Some of them will be ending as soon as a few days from now.

Check out Nintendo’s sales page for full details on everything.

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
