Old school games enthusiasts may remember Sega’s pre-Sonic mascot character Alex Kidd from his game Alex Kidd in Miracle World all the way back in 1986 on the Sega Master System. Alex Kidd is somewhat sparsely used by Sega these days but none the less a new game in the series is on it’s way! Thanks to developers Jankenteam and publishers Merge Games, Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX is heading to a gaming platform near you.

featuring a neat, kind of hand drawn aesthetic, Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX is somewhat of an enhanced remake of the original game, featuring all the levels from the original game, as well as some brand new levels to enjoy.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX launches on June 24th on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC via both Steam and the Epic Game Store for $19.99 USD.
