Story

NieR Replicant‘s remake is a third-person action RPG and prequel to NieR: Automata. It sees the youthful protagonist leave his remote village with a magical talking tome in search of “Sealed verses” on a quest to save his ailing sister.

The protagonist soon pays a visit to the desert kingdom known as Façade. By his side is a group of unlikely sidekicks composed of the powerful warrior known as Kainé, and the talking magical tome, Grimoire Weiss. After the desert trip has concluded, he will head for the Barren Temple. After exploring inside, he will suddenly find himself in battle up against a bunch of crazy, sentient cubes! His ultimate goal is to save his terminally ill sister, Yonah, who is beset by the Black Scrawl. It is a disease that threatens the world, with humanity already nearly extinct. However, it is not the only threat the world faces, as there are also strange beasts.

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
