Sands of Aura is set in a seemingly endless ocean of sand known as Talamhel. The player must sail through this “ocean” and combat horrifying factions of monsters and mutated wild life while discovering and exploring islands and the ruins of a once great empire. The developers promise a challenging action RPG with engaging combat, setting, and score by Eduardo Lopez.

If you want to checkout Sands of Aura for yourself you can currently download a demo available on their Steam page. Sands of Aura delivers the brutal difficulty of Souls-like games – along with rewarding dungeon crawling, endlessly addictive loot progression, and Unreal 4-powered real-time combat.

Set in the world of Talamhel, the game is filled with a morbid roster of the depraved: The fervent Ferrum, wielding their curved blades with deadly elegance; the hive-minded Hashara, overpowering their enemies in great, hive-sized numbers; and the multitudes of corrupt wildlife, grotesquely reborn by the corruption.

Brave the sea of shifting sands to reach new islands. Explore the ruins of great empires and discover the entrenched monstrosities that lay within …

  • Sail the sands in search of adventure and glory.
  • Dive head first into battle – or don’t! The choice is yours.
  • Engage in real-time combat not for the faint of heart.
  • Face ever more horrifying monsters ready to strike at a moment’s notice.
  • Enjoy an incredible music score by Eduardo Lopez.
  • Choose from hundreds of unique weapon combinations to cleave, maul or spear your way to victory.
  • Customize your weapons to gain an advantage in every skirmish.
  • Vanquish the corrupted races of Talamhel whenever they stand in your way!

Sands of Aura is expected to hit Steam Early Access in 2021.
