Welcome to the second Nintendo Download of 2021, or at least it would be. You see, there wasn’t one last week since there was no press release yet when I went to write the article. They did since post one, but it was a very small one anyway. Things are still pretty quiet overall, with one featured title this week, and there weren’t any in the press release for last week.

We do have one DLC being highlighted this week, which is the No Mercy DLC for Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise.

Featured Games

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition ($14.99) is coming to numerous platforms. There are limited physical editions coming to several platforms as well. We covered this last week here. Battle through waves of enemies with your friends, or challenge them to some friendly competition in mini-games such as Dodgeball. Defeat the League of Ramona’s Evil Exes. The new complete edition re-release of the game includes the DLCs from the original. This title is a beloved 2D beat-em up that was inspired by the comic book series, and the movie Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

Current Sales

This week’s Nintendo Download also has a relatively quiet sales scene as you can see at Nintendo’s sales page. However, their New Year Sale is going on until January 21st at 11:59pm PT. It spans an array of 40 different games. Here are a few of the highlights.

There are also a couple of smaller sales to talk about. First, the Control Ultimate Edition – Cloud Version is 30% off until January 21st at 11:59pm PT. Alien: Isolation ($19.99 | $34.99) is also on sale until the same time. Finally, Cyber Shadow is 25% off if you pre-order it now. This offer ends on January 25th at 11:59pm PT.

Well, that does it for another Nintendo Download. Take care and have fun until next time!

Michael Fontanini
Michael is a veteran gamer in his late 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES, SNES, and N64 among others. He loves Nintendo, but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks/bike rides, loves animals, and enjoys thunderstorms (and science in general). I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
