As part of their indie showcase, Alaloth – Champions of the Four Kingdoms was featured during the PC Gaming Show 2020. It is an isometric ARPG taking direct inspiration from Baldur’s Gate and Pillars of Eternity. While the player’s end goal is to take down the titular dark god Alaloth, they are free to be a hero or villain, undertaking quests in order to build their reputation, find relics and secrets in order to become stronger. The game itself is also meant to be rather challenging, where one wrong move could spell death. Even after the first playthrough, there is more to the game like new modes. Combined with the gameplay, the developers also intent to offer a deep narrative help crafted by RPG veteran Chris Avellone. The trailer can be found below.
