Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris | Key Visual

Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new trailer which reveals some new details for Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris. First of all is a new system called the “Tactics Emulating AI System.” With this system, your AI party members can memorize the commands you give them and use them later on depending on the situation presented.

Second off is the introduction of online multiplayer, which returns from previous games such as Hollow Realization and Fatal Bullet. Players can battle in parties of up to 4 people. Character creation also returns, allowing the player to freely customize their avatar for online play. Producer Yosuke Futami has confirmed that avatar creation will be limited to online play, and players will control Kirito in the solo campaign.

Lastly, it was announced that ReoNa will perform the opening theme for the game. ReoNa previously performed the 2nd ending theme for Sword Art Online: Alicization, “forget-me-not,” and multiple insert songs for Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online. The opening for Alicization Lycoris is titled “Scar/let.”
