At the very end of Ubisoft’s E3 press conference for this year they made a pretty surprising announcement. Gods & Monsters, a brand new game brought to us by the team responsible for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
The teaser is short, and we don’t there’s really not a lot of info there, but we know has something to do with gods…. and probably monsters. The player has been called upon by the gods to fight said wicked monsters and probably save the world. It’s not exactly the most original premise for a video game, but a pretty classic one. The game looks quite aesthetically pleasing, being very colorful, and it does kind of give me some Breath of the Wild vibes.
Will the story be a little more complicated than what is presented here? Will the gameplay differentiate itself from other games out there on the market? Only time can tell, but I’m sure Ubisoft will be showing us more of God’s & Monsters as it approaches it’s release date of February 25th, 2020 on PC, Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
