XSEED has announced that SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal will be launching on Steam and the PlayStation 4 on January 22, 2019. This is remake of Senran Kagura: Burst that released on the 3DS a few years back. You can see how it all began with vastly updated graphics and gameplay.

Here is some information about the various editions of the game coming to Steam and PS4.

The ‘Tailor-Made’ edition comes with a 2-disc soundtrack containing 58 tracks and a DLC key containing Yumi as a playable character with her own exclusive episode, Re:Newal Old Hanzo Uniform and Burst Girls Uniform, and the Lovey-Dovey Couple Diorama Pose Set. The ‘At the Seams’ edition will contain all items from the ‘Tailor-Made’ edition, plus six “Busty Besties” – rubber character straps with display stands. The ‘Tailor-Made’ edition will also be offered digitally and is now available for pre-order on the PlayStation®Store and Steam at $49.99, while a standalone version is also on offer for $39.99. Re-experience a gorgeously enhanced 3D version of the series’ inaugural Western entry in bright, colorful HD, all from the original development team HONEY∞PARADE GAMES, Inc.

All digital pre-orders will include the “Beautiful Something Yukata” DLC, which will be exclusive as a pre-order bonus for 4 weeks before being made available for purchase to everyone at $3.99. Additionally, PlayStation Store pre-orders will include the “Blooming Again” theme, which will be available for sale at $2.99 as a part of week 5 DLC. XSEED Games will also be offering two DLC costumes – “Cutie ♡ Melon” and “Cutie ♡ Peach” — to all players as a free download during the first four weeks following the game’s launch. After this promotional period, these DLC costumes will be sold at $3.99 each.

There a Limited Edition  ‘At the Seams’ version for the PlayStation 4 that comes with come cute keychain standee’s of the girls for $79.99.  Marvelous has also noted that not all DLC costumes from previous games on the PlayStation 4 will carry over to this game. Intimacy Mode as well we all know as been censored from the PlayStation 4 version per Sony’s request, but is left intact for the Steam release.
